In Tianjin, Thailand and China reached the final of the 2026 Asian Women's Championship and both qualified. Thailand won the final, China took silver, and Japan won the bronze medal match to claim Asia's third berth. In Nairobi, Egypt and Kenya reached the final of the 2026 African Women's Championship and qualified before the match was played.
